Yoink - Green Spotted Puffer

This is a picture of my first Green Spotted Puffer, his name was Yoink, but my family and I usually called him just 'Mr. Puff-Puff'. This photo of him turned out so incredibly well! It's so hard to take pictures of fish (Believe me, if any of you have tried, you know my plight) and the color and focus is just amazing!
I rescued this little fella from my local Wal-Mart. They had a bunch of these puffers in a small tank as their "Fish of the Month". Problem is... They put them in with other fish, and not in salt water... Which they need. After going back a few times and seeing their numbers dwindle (due to death), they tugged on my heart strings and I knew I had to save one.
I had him for three months this summer. I bought him a huge 20 gallon tank for him to swim in with all sorts of ornaments and plants. He was an awesome fish. I knew about this puffer and what they needed because my boyfriend has dwarf puffers, but I didn't know all of the ins and outs of the GSP. Sadly to say, our little Puff passed, due to what we've now concluded as internal parasites. I loved this little guy to death, even my Dad started to tear up when he heard the news. (Puffers are very intelligent fish and very interactive, so it's easy to get attached).
But when the school year started I brought his tank to my apartment at college and my boyfriend and I got another puff. His name is Stewart, but all my roommates and friends just call him 'uff', he, unlike Mr. Puff Puff, is not all that photogenic. He's cute though, he even has the mickey-mouse symbol on his forehead (due to the dots converging). Maybe he'll be useful one of these days and I can snap a picture as good as this one of him!

Sorry for the long comment~! I just wanted to give a back story on my puffs, especially since they are so mistreated at most pet stores, simply because people don't know much about them and because they require more matinence than a goldfish. (Don't get me wrong! I love goldfish, I have one of them myself~! ^^)
